Salon Marketing versus Salon Advertising
Salon Marketing has to do with anything that deal with person to person communication to make a salon marketing sells attempt. That means the salon marketer will have to either make a phone call or have a face to face meeting with the prospecting customer in order to sell their salon brand. A Good Salon Marketing Example is; Handing out your hair stylist business cards to random people you meet outside your place of business. If you are the shy type or just do not like the idea of approaching people you might like salon advertising much better. Salon Advertising is the opposite of Salon Marketing. Salon Advertising is having a service or thing advertise for you where people go by and take sight. Some good Advertising Examples are; Having your hair salon flyer posted out in public where prospecting salon customers will notice. Another Salon Advertising Example could be your Hair Salon Website, or an Online Ad placed on Google, Yahoo, or Bing. Something really important to take notice about the difference between Salon Marketing and Salon Advertising. Now if we were to do the Salon Marketing and the Salon Advertising ourselves you have to consider how much time it will take. Time is money, and money is time. If you want to be successful you have to know how to use it well. It takes much more time to run a Salon Marketing Campaign versus having a Website, Flyer or Online Ad work for you while you are sleeping. You won’t stop hearing me post “Time is Money, and Money is Time”. Its the one of the key ingredients building wealth and being successful.
